We have started riding. I've been out 3 times and will be out at Utah Lake tomorrow. I'll for sure give you a call next time i'm headed out on the boat I usually ride behind. I'd invite you for tomorrow but I don't know the boat owner very well. I guess Malibu Demo Day is tomorrow too if you want a free pull at Utah Lake. Catch ya later man.

Hey Trent. We live in Bountiful and usually ride at pineview. We've been riding at Willard Bay the past couple weeks because we're not sure if Pineview's thawed yet. In any case, it's sure to be much colder and the bugs haven't gotten bad at willard yet.

Welcome to Utah Trent! In answer to your question, the housing does stay closed. The end cap you see in the picture is rubber and flexible and I tighten the hose clamp around it good and tight. At the moment, I have to turn the camera on and press play before I put it in the housing and I just let it run. However I just acquired some rubber push-button boots and am going to install them with some rods so I'll be able to press start and stop in the future. You can check out the video of the test I did to see how the current setup works. It's pretty simple.
Oh and my buddy and I are often looking for thirds during the daytime on weekdays. I don't know what you're schedule's like but let me know if you're interested.

First Utah summer

fellow wakeriders, new in town and looking for riders i can hang with in the summer. I got beverages, board, good times and most important "dollars" to run boats. give me a heads up for anyone in the surrounding SLC community.
